Excellent opportunity for the position of "Senior Accounts Ex." from a well reputed & established school located at Gurgaon. Position: Senior Accounts Ex. Salary offered: 40 - 50K PM Timings: 8AM - 5PM
Key Responsibilities: - Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the school's budget in collaboration with the principal and school board.
- Monitor and control expenditures to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using accounting software.
- Bookkeeping:
- Record all financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Maintain ledgers, trial balances, and other financial records.
- Payroll Management:
- Process payroll for teaching and non-teaching staff, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure timely payment of salaries and statutory deductions like Provident Fund, Income Tax, and other applicable deductions.
- Fee Collection:
- Manage the collection of school fees from students, including issuing invoices, receipts, and managing fee defaulters.
- Implement and monitor fee collection policies to ensure timely and complete collection.
- Financial Advice and Support:
- Provide financial advice and support to the school management on various financial matters.
- Assist in financial planning, investment decisions, and risk management.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 Years of working in any CA firm & 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an education instituition.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
